Pastor Troupe is married to his High School sweetheart Rose Troupe of 42 years. Through the course of the years they became the parents of four children; Tangela, Demetria, Larry and Antron. After years of running from the Lord, whom he was introduced to at the age of seventeen, he surrendered his life to the Lord at the age of 36. Elder Troupe along with his wife and children joined Brown Temple C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of Pastor Matthew Williams II. Where he served faithfully in the capacities of Usher, Deacon and after three years as a Deacon he informed his Pastor that God had called him to preach, then God continued to elevate him higher from Deacon to Minister from Minister to Elder. Other offices he held were District Sunday School Superintendent, and II Administrative to his Pastor who is now Bishop Matthew Williams. The positions along with the Ministerial Training & Doctrine he acquired at W.E Davis Institute, helped to prepare him for the tasks that God had called him for.

In August of 2000 Elder Troupe informed his Pastor Bishop Matthew Williams of God`s call for him to branch out and start a ministry that God had placed in his heart. The vision that God had given Elder Troupe materialized on September 24, 2000 in the form of Universal Church of the Harvest C.O.G.I.C at 1503 W. Busch Boulevard.  Which after 10 years, has since relocated to 5608 N.Nebraska Ave. The Church which has a heart for people and a world wide vision for souls.
